Lee Fiocchi, CSCS

Lee is the Founder and an Owner of Dynamic Sports Training. He served as Head S&C Coach for the Los Angeles Angels from 2017-2021. He has been featured on ESPN as well as in USA Today, the LA Times, Houston Chronicle, and The Boston Globe. Lee played football at the collegiate level. There, he discovered his desire to help athletes reach their goals. He founded DST in 2008 with the vision to challenge every individual athlete’s genetic potential in their sport(s).

Hayden Letts, CSCS, RSCC

Hayden is the Director of Operations at DST West and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Originally from Danville, CA, Hayden interned at DST North in the summer of 2018, was hired in October 2018, and currently leads DST West’s pro baseball off-season training.

Noah Brogdon, CPT

Noah is the Manager of High School & Youth Training at DST West. Prior to this role, Noah was a performance intern at DST San Antonio. Noah received his undergraduate degree in Sports Management with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M where he also became a Certified Personal Trainer.

Maddy Kelly, CSCS

Maddy Kelly is a Sports Performance Specialist and NSCA – Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach at DST West. Originally from La Mirada, CA, Maddy played Division I Soccer at Sam Houston State University before joining DST in August 2022. Maddy coaches a wide range of athletes at different ages and levels of experience, including youth and high school athletes, as well as adult fitness clients.

Mackenzie Letts, CPT, CNC

Mackenzie Letts is a Sports Performance Specialist and NASM – Certified Nutrition Coach at DST West. Mackenzie trains a wide range of clients at DST West, including youth and high school athletes, as well as adult fitness clients. She also handles nutritional services for athletes at our Houston locations. Originally from Rosemount, MN, Mackenzie joined DST in the winter of 2023. Prior to that, Mackenzie attended the University of South Dakota, where she majored in kinesiology sports management, with an emphasis in exercise science, and minored in psychology and health.

Paul Yost, MS, CSCS, PN1

Prior to joining DST, Paul has worked in various roles in the fitness and sports performance industry. This includes work at private facilities, work at the collegiate level at Texas A&M and in professional baseball as a part of the Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners and the Toronto Blue Jays organizations. Having experience with athletes and clients from various sports and backgrounds has helped him become a more well-rounded coach and allows him to deliver better results for his clients.

Kevin Poppe, CSCS, RSCC*D, FRSC

Kevin is an Owner of DST as well as Director of Operations at DST North, and the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Chicago Cubs. He has been featured on MLB Network as well as in ESPN Magazine, The Athletic and The Houston Chronicle for his work with many of the top athletes in the country. Poppe played and coached baseball at Concordia University in Nebraska. Poppe is Rapsodo Pitching Certified and a member of the Diamond Kinetics Hitting Council.

Jason McCormack, MS, CSCS

Jason joined DST in 2021. He is the After School Group Manager and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Jason is a former DST Athlete who played baseball at Southwestern University where he received his BS in Kinesiology. He earned his MS in Kinesiology degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. While at TAMUCC, he was a graduate teaching assistant, instructing Physiology of Exercise and Biomechanics laboratory sections.

Charlie Galloway, ACSM- EP-C

Charlie joined DST in 2020, and he is the Manager of Premier High School Groups. Galloway graduated from the University of Houston in 2020 with a degree in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Sports and Fitness, and he is a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Jordan Ainsworth, NASM-CPT

Jordan is our Off-Site Trainer at DST. He has a CPT certification through ACSM. Prior to working at DST, Jordan played basketball at the collegiate level and coached at the high school level. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi College. Since joining DST, Jordan has become an expert at prepubescent development and become proficient in training athletes of all ages and all levels. His knowledge and experience continually prepare our athletes for the next level.

Kyle Kleeman, NFPT-CPT

Kyle is in charge of our NFL Draft Prep and Pro Football Off-Season training at DST West, and runs private speed training at DST North. Prior to working at DST, Kyle played collegiate football and won a national championship at Northwest Missouri State University. Kyle earned a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Recreation & Wellness and is NFPT certified.

Haley Chapa, LPC-A

(Supervised by Adrienne Gonzalez, LPC-S)

Haley is the Business Associate and the mental performance coordinator at DST. She received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University and received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at Sam Houston State University, and specializes in working with athletes.

Chris Sampson, NASM-CPT

Chris Sampson is a Performance Coach and Client Relations Representative for DST and operated out of DST North. Sampson played several years in MLB as a starting pitcher for the Houston Astros. Sampson has coaching experience at the youth, high school and collegiate levels. All three of his sons are current DST athletes.

Sammy Knox, NSCA-CSCS; FMS Professional Level 1 & 2

Sammy is the Director of Operations at DST South as well as a member of the Houston Astros organization as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Sammy is a Certified strength & conditioning coach through the NSCA and Sports Performance Specialist at our DST South location (coming April 2018). Sammy received his Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston and has been training athletes since 2011. As an athlete, Sammy played baseball at Cisco junior college and has a background in powerlifting. His passion is to guide athletes on how to get the most out of their given abilities.

Ryan Henry, CPT

Ryan Henry is a Business Operations Associate, Coach and seasonal Director of Operations at DST South. He received a bachelor of arts degree in multidisciplinary studies with focuses in business, communications, and math, graduating in December of 2016 from the University of Texas in San Antonio. He was president of the club baseball team for three years where he managed, coached, and played. He was named pitcher of the month in May of 2012 where he led his conference in strikeouts and ERA. He joined the DST team in 2017.

Rick Gannon III, M.S., CSCS PN-1

Rick is the Director of Athletic Performance at DST Arizona / Arizona Christian University. He works with ACU’s: Football, Swim, Cross Country, Softball, Wrestling, Mens Basketball, and Beach Volleyball teams. Rick Runs the Pro-baseball off Season group. Before DST Rick interned at NAU, William Penn, Abilene Christian, and completed his graduate assistantship at Hardin Simmons University. His passion is helping athletes and military improve their performance through training. Rick lives in Phoenix Arizona with his Wife Kayla, son RJ IV, and daughter Navy Alana.

Jake Affronti, MBA, CSCS, USAW

Jake is the Associate Director of Performance for Arizona Christian University. Jake is a native of Arizona. He loves sports but he found a love for strength and conditioning early on. In his tenure as a performance coach, he’s opened his own business, been a strength coach for five local Arizona high schools, and has spent time at Arizona State University and Pace University. During his time with high schools, he was also a Football Coach. Jake’s currently training to compete in Olympic Weightlifting, loves to golf, and oftentimes emulates Ric Flair’s, “WOO.” Jake assists with ACU’s Football, and is responsible for Men’s Lacrosse, Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Golf, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Wrestling, Cheer, Dance, and Track and Field.

Jamie Balevic, NASM-CPT

Jamie Balevic is a sports performance specialist and hitting coach at DST Arizona. He works in the weight room and cages with the youth athletes, as well as ACU’s Baseball, Mens Volleyball, & Womens Volleyball teams. Prior to joining DST in August of 2019, Jamie played college ball at Wayland Baptist University where he received his BBA, interned at True Grind Systems under hitting coach Scott Lacey, and was a baseball coach for Arizona Christian University. His favorite part of training is helping athletes transfer their new strength and speed to the field.

Bill Nelson, DC, CSCS

Bill grew up in St. Louis.  After 4 years in the Army, he started college, where he competed in cross country.  He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis and later completed a Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at Logan.  Bill spends his free time golfing, SCUBA diving, mountain biking, or playing softball.  After interning with DST Arizona, Bill was brought on staff to assist with ACU’s football strength and conditioning, as well as the ACU Stunt Team, and also serves our MLB Off-Season group as a Rehab Specialist.

DST PHOENIX CHRISTIAN

Ray Karvis, MSEd, CSCS

Coach Ray Karvis is the Director of Sports Performance at DST Phoenix Christian, which is based out of Phoenix Christian Preparatory School. Ray joined the DST Arizona (ACU) staff as an assistant strength coach in September of 2019 and served as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance.  He brings over twenty years of experience as an S&C coach to the team. Coach K recently completed a chapter on speed and agility as a co-author to the NSCA high school strength and conditioning manual which came out in the spring of 2021. He is married to his wife, Mandi, and resides in Phoenix, Arizona.

Garrett Kelly, MS, SCCC, RSCC

Garrett joined the DST team in January 2017, eventually going on to serve as the Director of DST West, the Director of DST Arizona (ACU), and now serving in an assistant role for pro baseball off-season training at DST North and DST West. Prior to joining DST, Garrett played college ball at Tarleton State University where he garnered All-Conference honors and won Conference Tournament MVP.  Upon graduation, Garrett stayed at Tarleton as an intern under Rod Cole. After that, he joined the Strength and Conditioning staff at Houston Baptist University under Rene Peña.

Kade Brewer, NFPT-CPT

Kade Brewer serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Catching Coordinator at DST San Antonio, overseeing the After School Group. With his background as a collegiate catcher, Kade brings valuable experience and leadership to his role, guiding athletes to enhance their strength, conditioning, and fundamental skills. Kade is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of athletes, and empowering them to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.

Dr. Steven Islas, PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Islas is our in-house sports physical therapist at DST. He grew up in Big Spring, TX playing multiple sports at the high school level. While living in west Texas, he received his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB). Steven completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University – Houston in 2018. He is passionate about helping athletes return to throwing, running, and sport performance.

Casey Meyer, MS, ATC, LAT

Casey has been with DST since 2021. He is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist and is TPI Certified. Previous to working with DST, Casey spent time at Texas State, TCU and most recently served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Texas A&M Baseball.

DST Waiver, Release of Liability & Agreements Waiver and Release

You (Buyer, Client, parent, spouse, or guest, as applicable) agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity or use any facility on the premises of our physical address, you do so at your own risk. This includes, without limitation, your use of equipment, locker room, showers, parking area, or sidewalk and your participation in any activity, class, program, personal training or other instruction now or in the future made available. You agree that you — or the individual(s) you are signing for — are voluntarily participating in these activities and using the equipment and facilities and assuming all risk of injury or your contraction of any illness or medical condition that might result there from or any damage, loss or theft of any personal property.

You agree on behalf of yourself (and your personal representatives, heirs, executors, spouse, administrators, agents, assigns or others) to release and discharge us (and our affiliates, landlords at Houston Christian, Premier Baseball of TX and Arizona Christian University, employees, agents, representative, successors and assigns) from any and all claims or causes of action arising out of our negligence. This waiver and Release of all liability includes, without limitation, injuries which may occur as a result of (a) your use of any facility or its improper maintenance, (b) your use of any exercise equipment which may malfunction or break, (c) our improper maintenance of any exercise equipment, (d) our negligent instruction or supervision, (e) our negligent hiring or negligent retention of any employee, (f) loss of consortium or (g) your slipping and falling while in the company of any affiliates, employees, agents, representative, successors, and assigns.

You have acknowledged that you have carefully read this waiver and release and fully understand that it is a release of all liability. In addition, you do hereby waive any right that you may have, by or on behalf of yourself, your spouse or any child (Minor or otherwise), to bring a legal action or assert a claim for injury or loss of any kind against us or our landlords (Houston Christian High School, Premier Baseball of TX and Arizona Christian University) for our negligence or arising out of or relation to participation by you, your spouse or child in any of the activities, or use of the equipment, facilities or services we provide as described in this paragraph, or on account of any illness or accident, or damage to or loss of your personal property.

DST, and our landlords at Houston Christian High School, Premier Baseball of TX and Arizona Christian University are NOT liable for any choices you make outside the facilities including, but not limited to: (a) physical training, (b) nutritional or supplemental programs, (c) foreign substances, prescribed or otherwise obtained, or (d) any unsupervised activity related or unrelated to DST or our landlords.

Client Responsibilities as to Entering Physical Activity

You (Buyer, each Client and all guests) should consult with your physician in all events, including a history of heart disease, before using our personal training services. You understand and acknowledge that we have no expertise in diagnosing, examining or treating any medical condition. You agree you will not use our services with any medical condition, including open cuts, abrasions, sores, infections, maladies or inability to maintain personal hygiene, if such condition poses a direct threat to the health or safety of yourself or others, and agree you will use the services in accordance with all applicable public health requirements. It is your responsibility to consult with your physician to determine if any of these medical conditions exists and, if so, whether such condition poses a direct threat to the health or safety of yourself or others. The company reserves the right to make the final determination in this regard.

Medical Issues

If there are any medical issues including current therapies or restrictions from you participating in physical activity it is your "the client" responsibility to contact DST Performance Enhancement at 713-899-2114 to discuss further participation within the workout program.

Billing Agreement

Athletes who have not paid in a timely manner (within 7 days of scheduled billing according to the attached training agreement) will be contacted by a member of DST via e-mail and/or phone call to inform them of their status. Athletes who have not paid their balance by the next billing period (1 month from original payment due) will have their account suspended. The athlete will not be able to train until their full balance has been paid. After a period of 6 months, any outstanding balance will be turned over to a collection agency. This includes any and all cancellation fees, penalties, etc. pursuant to the attached training agreement.

Media Release

I willingly give permission to DST to use my name and likeness (including videos, pictures, and edited images) for their internal use and marketing/advertising purposes (including, but not limited to: social media, website, print, and other forms of media). I understand that I will not be financially, or otherwise compensated unless agreed upon by both parties. DST will adhere to all NCAA and other amateur athlete guidelines.

Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel their remote training membership at any time by providing written notice to DST.

  • If cancellation notice is received before the start of the next billing cycle, no further charges will be applied and the client will retain access through the end of the current paid period.
  • If cancellation notice is received after the current billing cycle has already begun, the client will be responsible for the full amount of that month. No partial refunds will be issued for the current billing period. Access will remain active through the end of that paid month.

DST will accept all major credit cards, cash, or personal/business check as payment. All members who sign up for a membership package must keep a credit card on file unless the package is paid for in full at the beginning of the agreement. Monthly payments may still be paid using other forms of payment, but the prompt payment is the sole responsibility of the client. If payment has not been received within one business week (5 business days) of the agreed payment date, the card on file will be automatically billed.

DST Waiver, Release of Liability & Agreements Waiver and Release

You (Buyer, Client, parent, spouse, or guest, as applicable) agree that if you engage in any physical exercise or activity or use any facility on the premises of our physical address, you do so at your own risk. This includes, without limitation, your use of equipment, locker room, showers, parking area, or sidewalk and your participation in any activity, class, program, personal training or other instruction now or in the future made available. You agree that you — or the individual(s) you are signing for — are voluntarily participating in these activities and using the equipment and facilities and assuming all risk of injury or your contraction of any illness or medical condition that might result there from or any damage, loss or theft of any personal property.

You agree on behalf of yourself (and your personal representatives, heirs, executors, spouse, administrators, agents, assigns or others) to release and discharge us (and our affiliates, landlords at Houston Christian, Premier Baseball of TX and Arizona Christian University, employees, agents, representative, successors and assigns) from any and all claims or causes of action arising out of our negligence. This waiver and Release of all liability includes, without limitation, injuries which may occur as a result of (a) your use of any facility or its improper maintenance, (b) your use of any exercise equipment which may malfunction or break, (c) our improper maintenance of any exercise equipment, (d) our negligent instruction or supervision, (e) our negligent hiring or negligent retention of any employee, (f) loss of consortium or (g) your slipping and falling while in the company of any affiliates, employees, agents, representative, successors, and assigns.

You have acknowledged that you have carefully read this waiver and release and fully understand that it is a release of all liability. In addition, you do hereby waive any right that you may have, by or on behalf of yourself, your spouse or any child (Minor or otherwise), to bring a legal action or assert a claim for injury or loss of any kind against us or our landlords (Houston Christian High School, Premier Baseball of TX and Arizona Christian University) for our negligence or arising out of or relation to participation by you, your spouse or child in any of the activities, or use of the equipment, facilities or services we provide as described in this paragraph, or on account of any illness or accident, or damage to or loss of your personal property.

DST, and our landlords at Houston Christian High School, Premier Baseball of TX and Arizona Christian University are NOT liable for any choices you make outside the facilities including, but not limited to: (a) physical training, (b) nutritional or supplemental programs, (c) foreign substances, prescribed or otherwise obtained, or (d) any unsupervised activity related or unrelated to DST or our landlords.

Client Responsibilities as to Entering Physical Activity

You (Buyer, each Client and all guests) should consult with your physician in all events, including a history of heart disease, before using our personal training services. You understand and acknowledge that we have no expertise in diagnosing, examining or treating any medical condition. You agree you will not use our services with any medical condition, including open cuts, abrasions, sores, infections, maladies or inability to maintain personal hygiene, if such condition poses a direct threat to the health or safety of yourself or others, and agree you will use the services in accordance with all applicable public health requirements. It is your responsibility to consult with your physician to determine if any of these medical conditions exists and, if so, whether such condition poses a direct threat to the health or safety of yourself or others. The company reserves the right to make the final determination in this regard.

Medical Issues

If there are any medical issues including current therapies or restrictions from you participating in physical activity it is your "the client" responsibility to contact DST Performance Enhancement at 713-899-2114 to discuss further participation within the workout program.

Billing Agreement

Athletes who have not paid in a timely manner (within 7 days of scheduled billing according to the attached training agreement) will be contacted by a member of DST via e-mail and/or phone call to inform them of their status. Athletes who have not paid their balance by the next billing period (1 month from original payment due) will have their account suspended. The athlete will not be able to train until their full balance has been paid. After a period of 6 months, any outstanding balance will be turned over to a collection agency. This includes any and all cancellation fees, penalties, etc. pursuant to the attached training agreement.

Media Release

I willingly give permission to DST to use my name and likeness (including videos, pictures, and edited images) for their internal use and marketing/advertising purposes (including, but not limited to: social media, website, print, and other forms of media). I understand that I will not be financially, or otherwise compensated unless agreed upon by both parties. DST will adhere to all NCAA and other amateur athlete guidelines.

Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel their remote training membership at any time by providing written notice to DST.

  • If cancellation notice is received before the start of the next billing cycle, no further charges will be applied and the client will retain access through the end of the current paid period.
  • If cancellation notice is received after the current billing cycle has already begun, the client will be responsible for the full amount of that month. No partial refunds will be issued for the current billing period. Access will remain active through the end of that paid month.

Payment Policy

DST will accept all major credit cards, cash, or personal/business check as payment. All members who sign up for a membership package must keep a credit card on file unless the package is paid for in full at the beginning of the agreement. Monthly payments may still be paid using other forms of payment, but the prompt payment is the sole responsibility of the client. If payment has not been received within one business week (5 business days) of the agreed payment date, the card on file will be automatically billed.
