ABOUT US
OUR STORY
DST started at a local Houston park over 13 years ago. Our relationships and partnerships have flourished by staying true to our mission, “to align the mind and body to achieve athletic mastery.”
Our DST Team is currently made up of 23 team members across 5 locations over 2 states (Texas & Arizona). Our teams meet weekly to equip, encourage and empower one another in our mission.
In 2008, DST partnered with Houston Christian High School under the leadership of DST Owner, Lee Fiocchi – where we still operate as the school’s S&C staff. From 2008 -2012 DST helped develop the first online training system specific to sailing as a part of the USA Olympic Sailing Performance Team.
From 2012-2016 DST served as the S&C staff for University of Houston Baseball helping the Cougars regain their national recognition as they completed the 2nd biggest win-loss turnaround in NCAA history (from 18-38 in 2012 to 36-20 in 2013). DST oversaw S&C for the Cougars during the 2nd winningest 4-year period in the history of the UH baseball program.
In 2014, we opened operations at DST North at Premier Baseball of Texas under leadership of DST Owner Kevin Poppe.
In 2018, DST opened DST South in Webster, TX under the leadership of Director, Sammy Knox who is also a member of the Houston Astros S&C team.
In 2019, DST partnered with Arizona Christian University under the leadership of Director, Garrett Kelly. DST serves as the Athletic Performance staff for the University.
Then (in 2020), DST San Antonio opened under leadership of DST San Antonio Owner and Director, Morris Libson.
