May 23, 2020 (San Antonio, TX) — Dynamic Sports Training (DST) to expand to San Antonio this summer.
Founded in 2008 by Lee Fiocchi, DST has been a pillar of the athletic development scene in Houston, Texas. The sports performance company has gained renown for their off-season training of several NFL and MLB athletes, although the majority of their clients are high school and college athletes.
This week, DST ownership signed an agreement with investors Morris Libson & Jeff Quillin, prominent members of the San Antonio youth sports community. The private training company will provide elite athletic development at a brand new sports performance facility. DST San Antonio will also offer pitching, hitting, and analytics services for baseball and softball players. Like DST’s other four locations, this facility will serve athletes of all ages in all sports.
Josh Graber, DST’s Director of Business Operations believes this will have a huge impact in San Antonio. “Morris and Jeff have a great vision for this facility and their mission aligns perfectly with ours. I know this is going to help a lot of athletes improve their game in all facets.”
Morris Libson, who has coached baseball for 18 years (the last decade in San Antonio), has been working on the idea of a comprehensive development facility for quite some time. “We are very excited about our agreement with DST. The strength and conditioning aspect has been the missing link in our training programs that our organizations began utilizing three years ago.” Libson added DST San Antonio would not only offer elite athletic opportunities, but would also be largely convenient for athletes and parents in San Antonio. “Currently, they have to find multiple resources. With this partnership, we have the opportunity to offer training that is all-inclusive at the same location. It also allows college and professional athletes from San Antonio to come back home to train during their off-seasons.”
Sports Performance Specialist Dennis Koenck will tackle the opportunity in San Antonio. Koenck, or “DK” as his athletes affectionately tagged him, is looking forward to this new endeavor. “We always say that success leaves clues. I’m amped for the opportunity to be a part of this process in San Antonio.” DK has been a member of DST since the Summer of 2016 where he has worked with hundreds of high school, collegiate, and professional athletes.
DST San Antonio will be the third new location in as many years for the company. DST South was opened in Webster, TX, in Spring 2018 while DST Arizona began operations in Glendale, Arizona in Summer 2019. These three additions will complement the original two locations — DST West at Houston Christian High School (2008) and DST North at Premier Baseball of Texas (2014).
DST serves nearly 2,000 athletes of all ages in all sports across their four existing facilities — three in the Houston area and one in Glendale, Arizona. From youth athletes as young as seven years old to professional athletes, the staff at DST specializes in creating customized training programs and nutrition plans for individuals and teams alike.
